Meribel Pharma Solutions is a pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) created in 2024 from the merger of the Synerlab Group with various ex-Recipharm companies. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel with approximately 5 years of professional experience to join our Legal Department. Reporting to the Group Head of Legal, you will act as a trusted legal advisor to the business, providing pragmatic and business-focused legal support, notably to the entities based in France. The role may also imply legal support to Swenden, UK and Spain where the HQ and affiliates and sites of the group are located.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (sales, services, supply, procurement, distribution, partnerships, NDAs, etc.);

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders across sales, procurement, finance and operations;

• Manage litigations involving the company, with the support of the Group Head of Legal and external counsel;

• Identify legal and contractual risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives to mitigate or avoid such risks;

• Support corporate and general legal matters as needed (corporate governance, compliance, internal policies, IP matters);

• Manage relationships with external counsel upon request of the Group Head of Legal;

• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in a rapidly evolving industry impacting the business;

• Contribute to the drafting and improvement of contract templates, playbooks and legal processes;

• Promote legal awareness across the organization, ensuring that employees at all levels understand the importance of legal compliance and best practices.

Profile / Requirements

• Master’s degree in law (commercial law, corporate law or equivalent)

• Qualified lawyer in France

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role in an international environment (a first experience in a law firm is a plus) – Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus

• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

• Ability to work with a certain level of autonomy while collaborating closely with business teams

• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in English

• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus
